This Privacy Notice explains how ADOMAH PRODUCTIONS ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use ADOMAH MILES (the "Service"). For the personal data described below, ADOMAH PRODUCTIONS acts as the data controller.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password hash, and authentication identifiers (e.g. Google sign-in identifier).
  • Profile & preferences: IRS mileage rate, vehicles, and trip categories you create.
  • Trip data: GPS coordinates, route paths, distance, duration, timestamps, classifications, and notes you add.
  • Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and basic analytics events.
  • Support communications: messages you send us and our replies.

2. How we use data

  • Create and operate your account and provide the mileage tracking service (contract performance).
  • Generate trip logs and exports for your own tax and record-keeping use (contract performance).
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests).
  • Improve product reliability and features via aggregated usage analytics (legitimate interests).
  • Respond to your support requests (contract performance / legitimate interests).
  • Send service-related emails such as receipts and important account notices (contract performance / legal obligation).

3. Who we share data with

  • Hosting and backend providers that store and process data on our behalf to run the Service.
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the Service, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and fraud prevention.
  • Analytics providers we use to understand how the Service is used.
  • Professional advisers such as legal and accounting professionals when needed.
  • Authorities where we are legally required to disclose data, or to protect our rights or others' safety.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

We keep account and trip data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may delete trips, vehicles, and categories at any time from within the Service. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and authentication. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. UK/EEA residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below; we will respond within the time required by applicable law (typically one month under GDPR).

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may also use analytics cookies to understand usage trends. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling required cookies may break parts of the Service.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
